This led them to bag a victory over Brazil, securing a silver medal and following Canada with a bronze medal. Unfortunately, Chiles couldn’t be there, but she took the stage all around the finals. There, Chiles clinched a bronze medal in her name. Following her remarkable victory at the Pan American Games, she made a return to UCLA.
The gymnast shared a story on Instagram where she could be seen recording Selena Harris-Miranda’s practice on the UCLA campus with the caption “Yassssss booooks!!! @selena.harriss.” Flavia Saraiva is another athlete from Brazil who secured the silver medal, but surprisingly, Chile’s performance became the showstopper.
Chiles is not only bringing accolades back to UCLA, but she also showcased a mesmerizing routine in the game. The Olympian executed a double-twisting Yurchenko flawlessly in front of the audience. Which made her earn a jaw-dropping score of 14.400 and carried her on the path of triumph.

She scored an average of 53.999, taking her to seven-tenth place, which was just below the champion. Unfortunately, she could not make it up to the gold, but one of her team members, Layla DiCello, did.
