Artistic Gymnastics is one of the most beautiful, but also one of the most demanding and dangerous ones. While gymnasts make fewer and fewer mistakes the more seasoned they get, even one mistake can cause a lot of damage. The selection camp for World Artistic Gymnastics Championships witnessed several falls as well, including two from Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles. Along the similar lines, a budding American gymnast also suffered an injury in the grand event.

The 17-year-old gymnast has already made her mark in the gymnastics arena by winning Junior all-around title at the 2021 U.S. Championships. Consequently, her injury has raised concern as social media kept on buzzing over it.

?Gymnastics move on the table goes wrong

Auburn Tigers gymnast Katelyn Jong, who recently turned senior, slipped her hand and suffered a brutal crash. Jong was attempting a Double-Twisting Yurchenko when she met with the accident. According to the viral tweet,??Katelyn Jong’s hand slipped on the table during warmups and she crashed a DTY. Had to be carried off by trainers.?? The event was also unforgiving to established gymnasts Jordan Chiles and Simone Biles.?

Chiles unfortunately fell out of bounds during a routine at the selection camp. According to another viral tweet,??Jordan Chiles with an out of bounds and a fall on floor. Came in crunched on that third pass.??Simone Biles had even terrible luck at the event, as she suffered two falls while leading the charge.?

Biles? score was reduced to 12.8 after her fall while performing on bars because of a Van Leeuwen mess up. While bars aren?t the strongest areas for Biles, she also made a mistake in one of her most trusty moves. Fans couldn?t believe their eyes as Biles also took a fall while executing the Yurchenko Double Pike. These mistakes echo even louder as the Olympics are just nine months away.
