Recently, Simone Biles’s husband, Jonathan Owens, made a life-changing decision about his football career. Traveling to Lambeau field with Simone Biles, Owens signed a contract to be a part of the Green Bay Packers. It means the fans will soon see the NFL star playing with players like Sean Clifford and Tyler Goodson. Happy with the decision, Biles and Owens, both shared a post of the news on their respective Instagram handles. However, unlike Biles, many fans weren’t happy that Owens would not play with the Houston Texans.
After Owens shared this news on Instagram, Biles posted three heart emojis and commented, “love you babe.” On the other hand, many fans expressed their disappointment at his decision, as Owens left the Texans team behind.
Jonathan Owens’s phenomenal performances on the football field
Playing as a safety, Owens has achieved 125 tackles. 84 tackles out of this are solo tackles. Not only this, but the NFL star has also accomplished more than 25 assists. This made him a valuable player for the Houston Texans.

Fans got emotional on seeing Owens exit from Houston Texans
With a great number of fans reacting to the decision, most expressed their disappointment towards it. A fan responded, “miss y’all already here at Houston”, with two crying emojis. Echoing a similar opinion, a fan said, “Oh nooo…we will miss you on the Texans team.”

A fan commented, “Nooooooooo! It’s business. I get it. Hurt that you weren’t re-signed by Houston. Just doesn’t look right for y’all to be wearing another jersey. Ah well, good luck to you this season.” This shows how many fans have accepted Owens’s exit from Houston Texans with heavy hearts.
