The gymnastics throne reclaimer Simone Biles joined the World Champions Centre reuniting with fellow gymnasts in the onset of summer. After her dreamy Mexican wedding in Cabo, the 26-year-old switched up her training to a rather serious mode. Joining Biles in the gymnastics scene was her senior women’s tribe practicing a rigorous training of more than six hours. In addition to her perfect dismounts, the humorous banter, shenanigans, and BTS glimpses of competitive events followed Biles back to her home ground.
The triumphant eighth all-around kept her fans up to date from the elite academy on all her social media platforms as the season got underway. Around the time of the continental quota selection, Biles and her 17-year-old teammate even went viral with their TikTok vlogs. A fan recently posed a question about Biles to her training partner to which she responded with an amusing reply.

Earlier in August at the 2023 Core Hydration Classic, Biles finished third while Zoe Miller took first place on the uneven bars. It was their returning moment after which the Tokyo Olympics gymnasts were seen in a chaotic video participating in a bean-boozled challenge just days before the next national championship. Now, off the mats, Miller engaged in a Q&A with her Instagram followers and was asked, “What’s your relationship like with Simone Biles?” Reflecting their strong friendship on her Instagram story, she replied, “horrible.”
Miller added her response with the picture of the two in the background in the front seat of the car, twinning in white tops and shorts. The dynamic WCC duo is known for their twinned, vivacious personalities, which can be seen in all of their videos. Just like the TikTok video posted before the Xfinity Championship, titled “Beam Boozled,” in which they tried the famous trend. Rules were simple: if they choose the wrong answer to a question, they must gobble down a random bean. The clip generated interest and hilarity while the duo paused mid-practice wearing their leotards to take on the challenge.

Before her first comeback, a video surfaced of Biles and Miller on Instagram showing an entertaining account of the two during practice. “Welcome to our vlog,” whispered Biles to begin the video. Miller commanded silence, saying, “We have to be very quiet this is a very unauthorized video,” while Biles laughed at WCC. This wasn’t all, did you know Miller even bet big bucks with Biles during the US Classic?

When Simone Biles lost to Joe Miller
In addition to taking sixth overall place at the Core Hydration Classic, Miller also took home an additional $200. This is what transpired: All-around champion Biles bet her that she wouldn’t perform an unconventional celebration dance following her bar routine. And when she did after placing first, the celebratory dance came in naturally. Miller stated, “She thought I was going to chicken out,” but eventually Biles paid up and even announced the same on her Instagram.
Both gymnasts made their return to competition at the Core Hydration Classic: Biles after her “twisties” incident and Miller after sustaining a concussion three months prior during training. Unfortunately, Miller didn’t advance to the World’s qualifier round team which is led by Biles. Without her training partner, Biles will now compete in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and make her move toward the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
