Simone Biles, a Yurchenko double pike performer, has set off yet another trend with her comeback. Before the Games, the American gymnastics athletes are back on their game, performing tirelessly and sharing their routines. In the past, Biles and the gymnast’s tribe have competed on many similar stages, finishing relatively close. As Biles’ latest Nationals schedule comes out, Sunisa Lee, another prominent all-around athlete joins in. Little recap, Lee was the only bars specialist on the US gymnastics team when Biles withdrew from the 2021 Olympics.
Two able athletes who frequently face up against one another in the tally are Lee and Biles, both being part of the US gymnastics team. Gymnastics Champs and their practice clips
Sunisa Lee showcased her mid-air twirl on her Instagram just three days after Biles posted her training video. The Minnesota native sprinted at just the right pace as seen in the video to hold her through two flips in the air before a smooth landing. While she practiced her talents, Lee donned a pink sleeveless top with black shorts and her hair pulled back into a bun.
This video serves as a testament that the all-around gymnasts are all set for a competitive matchup. Despite her recent fall, 26-year-old Biles made an incredible comeback in the US National Team Camp earlier this month. She placed first in the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise events and third in the even bars event, earning a total score of 57.650! Fans have already declared Biles as the Nationals qualifier after that.
As for Lee, the Olympic all-around champion has stated her intention to attend the Nationals recently, much like Biles. The 20-year-old has ended her rookie year at Auburn University and is preparing to compete with Biles in the events at the US Classic on August 5. The Olympian has a clear ambition for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, despite recent kidney issues. While fans cheer with love and support, the two gymnasts have a lot in common from prior events that will only advance them as a team.

Gymnastics legends line up for the Games yet again
When Biles withdrew from the all-around competitions, Lee, then 18 years old, stepped up, feeling as though she was under the most intense pressure she had ever experienced.
