The recent Pan American Games held in Santiago yielded yet another vault performance by Rebeca Andrade. The Brazilian wowed everyone with a killer cheng vault and shook the stage with a near-perfect execution. Rebeca Andrade has made the vault apparatus an undisputed throne of hers. Andrade is the reigning Olympic gold medalist in the category. In fact, she also recently beat Queen Simone Biles in the vault at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Antwerp. A tweet on X posted a video of Andrade’s magnificent cheng that won her the gold medal in Santiago as well.

The tweet carried the caption, “In the name of the block, the set, and the holy ghost landing! Holy Mother of God, this is GORGEOUS!” The near-perfect cheng yielded 9.733 points to Andrade, which skyrocketed her average to a staunch 14.983 points. Speaking to Olympics.com, Rebeca Andrade said that she was proud of everything she presented. However, she did mention that she could have improved her already ravishing vault.

She said, “Looking at the video, I think I piked it a bit, maybe if I don’t pike it… it’s hard for them to give me a 10, but it’s not impossible!” While the Brazilian legend believes she can get an even higher score, fans stand charmed by her performance. The video showcasing her vaulting prowess garnered loads of comments from highly impressed fans.
