Sunisa Lee is probably one of the most celebrated gymnasts on the US women’s gymnastics team. The 20-year-old broke through the world to attain the pinnacle in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics; standing atop the podium having garnered the combined highest score across all 4 apparatuses. Following her success, as the gymnast returned, she has grown to gain the attention of her increasing followers; the count, now stands at 1.6 Million.

Though Suni Lee reigned triumphantly, she remained no stranger to setbacks. The young sensation was forced to sit out her contests after learning about her dire health earlier this year. Nonetheless, on break or not, Suni continues to exude influence over her followers with her persistence and girth. Following along with the case, Suni joined forces with major brands. And more recently, it has been an exciting gymnastics collection.

Recently, the gymnastic icon took to Instagram over the week to announce her exciting new collaboration with GK Elite and Target. Suni Lee, having previously collaborated with Lululemon, and Crocs, the youngster has now gotten her hands on a leotard collection. According to her post, Suni working with the World?s Leading Brand of Gymnastics Apparel is all set to release her own collection of leotards. “It still doesn?t feel real that I have a leo collection at?@target! My latest styles just dropped, and I can?t wait to see you in them!”?

Following the news, Suni Lee reshared the BTS view of the photo shoot shared by GoDucks’ creative director, Aimee Sinacola. To everyone’s excitement, the post did not comprise Suni alone.

The 20-year-old was joined by fellow gymnast, Jade Carey. Sharing the excitement, Aimee wrote, “Last weekend, I switched it up a little from #GoDucks content ? swipe for behind-the-scenes photos of the new leo collections of @jadecarey and @sunisalee.” The post gave a lively peek into the set and scenes that went behind the launch.

The post had a warming reaction from Jade and Suni. As Suni commented, “these are sick !! ur the best !” Jade added, “the absolute best!!”?The duo’s chemistry shines through the collaboration and remains not a new one. The two icons have previously been teammates on many occasions; including the Olympics. Now as they join forces again, they are headed towards exciting journeys; each on their own path.

Suni Lee and Jade Carey were on the 2021 Olympics roster and earned a team silver. But besides that joint achievement, Jade and Suni also rose to win individual gold. While Jade aced the Floor exercise with 14.366, Suni Lee bagged the all-around title with 57.433. Moving forward, like they say and Olympics.com agrees, ‘Once a team, always a team,’ the duo earned their first perfect score together.

In Feb last year, Suni and Jade, along with their Olympic team, earned their first perfect 10.0s competing at the NCAA. Suni and Jade both earned a 10 performing on the uneven bars while Chiles took the floor. Though Suni has now departed from NCAA, Jade still remains whilst also aiming for Paris 2024 and more.

For Suni, who had to sit out of the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships’ selection, the gymnast already has her eyes set on the 2024 Paris and is in preparation despite her kidney ailment.
