After achieving success at the US National Championship on Sunday, Jordan Chiles posted a heartwarming update on social media. She reposted the olympian and coach Cecile Landi?s Instagram story showcasing the US national team members with the caption “2023-2024 U.S. Senior National Team Members.”

In the picture, a collage of the four senior members, including Simone Biles, Tiana Sumanasekera, Joscelyn Roberson, and Jordan Chiles, was clubbed together which was accompanied by a US flag and a star emoji.

This heartwarming post comes after the athlete paved her way toward training after her Xfinity USA Gymnastics National Championship 2023 fall. Chiles’s UCLA coach Janelle McDonald said that even though it wasn’t her best day at gymnastics, making a jump to all four events was not an easy victory.

While the recent imbalance and fall were disappointing for her, Chiles’ biggest career highlight is completing a team-high 56 routines for the Bruins with just three earning scores lower than 9.8. She earned five perfect 10s and competed in the all-around every week. Despite that, the Tokyo Olympics had a different game plan set for her altogether.

When Simone Biles comforted Chiles after a rough Olympic debut

The Tokyo Olympics was Chiles’ big debut. However, a couple of things went wrong. During her stint on the beam balance, she fell to the mat on her hands and knees after her dismount. Post her performance, Chiles was visibly upset and crouched on a chair next to her coach from the World Champions Centre where she trained, Cecile Canqueteau-Landi.

Biles, who had her own beam routine to worry about, walked over to Chiles and crouched beside her. She shared a few words of encouragement and patted Chiles?s knee?before mounting the beam for her own routine.
