Lee emphatically wrote “YEAHHH KAY !!” in the comment section to express her solidarity with Dicello. The U.S. team?s success at the Pan Am Games was not limited to DiCello?s victory. Jordan Chiles, another member of the U.S. team, also demonstrated her mettle.

After failing to qualify for the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championship, Chiles made a strong comeback at the Pan American Games. Her efforts contributed significantly to the United States winning the women?s all-around competition with 165.196 points. This victory marked the team?s sixth consecutive gold medal in the Pan American Games. Amid the triumph, Suni Lee is away from the mats, as she faces a challenging time with a recurring health issue.

Sunisa Lee, the Olympic all-around champion, had to opt out of this year?s U.S. Women?s World Championships Selection Event due to a kidney-related health issue. Despite her health concerns, Lee expressed her support for her teammates competing at the Pan Am Games and set her sights on competing in the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Lee?s decision to prioritize her health over competition was difficult but necessary. She has been dealing with this kidney-related health issue since March, which forced her to end her NCAA season at Auburn University early and put her training on pause for several months.
