Gymnast Sunisa Lee has been away from gymnastics towards the latter part of 2023. But did that stop her from garnering love and support? No. The 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist has been suffering from a kidney disease, but she’s on a recovery journey already. Sitting out on back-to-back championships has allowed her compatriots to sweep titles. But with Lee’s Olympic return this year, they will have to toil since she has a new vault skill to ace.
Being mindful of her gymnastic practice didn’t mean skipping social media. Getting showered with fan love and celebrating her healing safari, the 20-year-old has also made big strides in her partnership domain. But one alliance stood out particularly, which is almost a household name now.
Sunisa Lee unveils GK Elite’s latest leotard line

Lee took to her Instagram handle to post a pink-and-purple leotard line, which perfectly embodies her lively nature. Alongside big names like Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey, the world’s leading brand in gymnastics attire, has Lee welcomed in all her glory. Oftentimes using her social media platform to express her adoration for GK Elite, she featured with them in a recent Instagram reel as well.

Lee’s partnership dates back to 2021
Being fashion forward is an essential factor in the gymnastic domain. So, to keep up with the trends whilst being an inspirational figure, Sunisa Lee joined hands with GK Elite in 2021. Holding hands with PrettyLittleThing, she launched her first leotard collection in 2022.

Since then, her creativity only kept upping. After the NCAA updated the new rule book where the athletes could make money out of NIL deals, there was no going back. “I love fashion so much and when I’m not in my leotard, I love putting looks together”, said she, who always dreamt of designing her own clothes. In the upcoming Paris Olympics, Lee is aiming to name full twisting Jaeger aka ‘The Lee’.
