Gymnast Olivia Dunne is atop her A-game in the ongoing meet season. Besides, her compatriots are no less when it comes to taking LSU to greater heights. Especially Haleigh Bryant, whose perfect scores earned her the first grand slam in LSU history. Owing to their collective skill show, the women are looking forward to bagging more wins shortly. But there’s a silent contention between two gymnastic icons, one hailing from LSU, the other from Auburn University.
Suni Lee, the former Auburn collegiate, had to withdraw from college in the wake of her kidney issue. In August 2021, Lee registered for classes, but the most notable was her debut in 2022, where she accelerated Auburn’s performance for a top finish. But in one area, Lee’s former university failed to inscribe their name since 2006.

Following, posting a season-high with 9.995, Aleah Finnegan made way for her women to take the stage for good.

Suni Lee and Dunne have been buddies since the early years, and even now, their friendship is running strong. But the former, being cognizant of Auburn’s ineptitude over the years, had once invited the prizest gymnast of the AU roster to join LSU. Was it an invitation?

Dunne’s camaraderie with Lee took an unexpected turn
Both the gymnasts being active social media stars, make use of the NIL deals to load their purses. The content they produce is eye-catching and unique. Last year this time, when LSU outclassed AU in a meet, the two shared a fun frame, reigniting a rivalry. Jokingly taking a jab at the 20-year-old’s team, Dunne lip-synced to My Superhero Movie. The caption read, “Me trying to convince my Olympic champion friend to transfer to LSU…”
