Olivia Dunne Treats Herself to Relaxing Day Off Following Victory Over Auburn

LSU’s star gymnast Olivia Dunne loves to spend her time with important people in her life even when the Tigers’ schedule is packed. Only yesterday, the athlete was spotted getting a much-needed recovery day at the gym after Dunne & Co. stomped over the Auburn Tigers in a high-stakes NCAA clash. However, Olivia also loves to indulge herself with dietary cheat days.

Dunne’s furry companion Roux melted her fans’ hearts after the gymnast introduced her new friend to the world last September. Since then, the pup has become a regular face in Olivia’s online posts and it looks like the 21-year-old’s mother isn’t also shy of showing some extra love to her daughter’s newest family member.

Olivia Dunne spends a deserved off day with family

In her latest series of stories on Snapchat, Olivia shared snippets of her off day with her mom. However, they weren’t alone for their breakfast date, as Roux got to get his hours in the sun as well. In one image, the adolescent dog is seen looking awkward as Olivia holds her furry baby in her arms as she dresses up to go out. Captioned, “Roux is part of the fit“, the two of them look adorable as Olivia’s candid glee couldn’t be overlooked.

In another image, Roux can be seen receiving some much-needed cuddles from her human mommy who’s convinced the former is her “angel puppy girl“. Subsequently, Roux is seen soaking in the glorious sunlight as she sits in a relaxed manner while Livvy has her breakfast. Another image shows Olivia’s date for the day.

Captioned “time with mom is the BEST!“, the picture shows Olivia’s mother looking dashing as she takes a sip of the coffee while her daughter captures the moment. Dunne will be making the trip to Florida later this week as the LSU Tigers take on the Gators with hopes of retaining their winning streak, and Olivia wasn’t one to put off her training ahead of the clash.

Other images from the series show Olivia hitting the gym to perfect her skills further ahead of the Friday match against Florida. Livvy also gave her fans a snippet of her training regime as she shared BTS snippets of her weight training with LSU teammate Savannah Schoenherr. Dunne also stated that a hard training routine on Mondays pumps her up and she loves the exhaustive schedule.
