The 20-year-old, who has held a reckoning force in US gymnastics and otherwise, has constantly trodden a path noticeable. Today, even as her kidney-related issue kept her off her much-cherished domain, the Olympian continues to present her resilience and persisting excellence.
Earlier last year, Suni Lee was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease. The instance forced her to cut short her NCAA journey and further elite gymnastics. However, focusing well on her health and well-being, the Olympic gold medallist has been making impressive progress on the mats. This progress was enough to receive a response of amazement from gymnastics greats.

The Inside Gym initially and Suni Lee eventually shared an Instagram post on the gymnast’s new routine. Named ‘full twisting Jaeger,’ the element on uneven bars has reportedly never been performed before. The gymnast’s post covered her progress from the initial days to her perfection as of January 23rd. Catching up on the update, Olivia Dunne had her own revelation about the skill presented.

“I did this once… then I woke up,” Dunne commented under the post, hinting at the complexity of the routine. However, the LSU fame wasn’t the only one revealing her view. “You woke up and chose chaos today huh,” Australian gymnast Heath Thorpe wrote. Further along, Nastia Liukin, MyKayla Skinner, Rebecca Andrade, and numerous more shared their amazement at the new skill. The response held peaking excitement among enthusiasts and gymnasts alike and rightly so because a further presentation of it would mean great things for Suni Lee.

A potential skill(s) to the gymnast’s name
Suni Lee had been off the mats for quite some time to prioritize her mental and physical health. However, in recent times, the Olympian’s social media presence has showcased her continued practice. Careful yet progressive. “But with the good days I just take advantage of what I’m able to do, and on the bad days I just do basics and try and stay as safe as possible,” she said back in November. Keeping up with it, Suni has fetched herself a potential new skill to be named ‘The Lee’.

According to Olympics.com, if Suni Lee were to perform on the element successfully on any of the international platforms, it would be named ‘The Lee’. Yet another one of her skills on the balance beam also supposedly holds the potential of being named after her. The 20-year-old, who said, “I will not stop pursuing my dreams for a bid to Paris in 2024,” has a driving force stronger than ever for the Olympic trials in June.
