A few days back, former Olympian and World Champion Rhys McClenaghan re-tweeted a picture of Simone Biles, where she posed with all her Olympic Golds. Adding the caption, “When she’s not here, you realize just how much she dominated… @Simone_Biles see you next year?” he shared the picture.

As soon as Rhys shared the picture, reactions and comments started to pour in. Fans expressed their views in support of the 25-year-old gymnast. It’s been over a year since Simone was professionally absent from the vault, and her fans can not help but miss her presence. Remembering the vault days, one user wrote, “I sure hope so. It’s not the same without her but great to watch others shine in her absence.”

For many, Simone was not just an athlete; She was their inspiration and role model. Biles did not just inspire the younger generation to take up gymnastics but also showed them the way to break stereotypes. Expressing their gratitude, one fan hence commented, “Our queen.”

Simone now focuses on her family life as she remains away from the vault. Back in February, she got engaged to NFL star player Jonathan Owens. As of now, she is preparing for her big day. One of her fans, thus, wrote, “I think she is off having a rich and full life right now (enjoy it, Simone), but yes, I miss watching her perform.”
