The athletes are gearing up with their spectacular podium training. This training makes their confidence level up before the championship begins.

All the teams, including the U.S., Great Britain, and several others, are fully engaged in giving their best efforts, evident in their rigorous practice sessions. In their appreciation post, they acknowledged the strong willpower of the gymnasts, highlighting their determination to perform better? despite facing difficulties during training. The team’s podium practice is proceeding at full pace, contributing to the continuous improvement of the athletes. The caption to the post carried, “Team Canada after a strong podium training.”

However, they are facing a few problems performing at the beam. Even after giving wonderful performance, some falls during the practice were witnessed and there are some areas where they need to work a little. The caption further continued, “Beam was the rough spot. A few falls during full routines and some elements they’ll need to work through that they’re not currently getting credited.” The Canadian team has already showcased a strong performance, and with some minor adjustments to address those falls, they are poised to deliver a commendable performance.

The preparations for the 2023 championships are in full swing, and the Canada team, led by three-time Olympian Ellie Black in Antwerp, Belgium, is gearing up for the competition. The team members include Aurelie Tran, Ava Stewart, Cassie Lee, and Rose Woo, with Frederique Sgarbossa serving as the alternative.

The men’s team of Canada comprises Zachary Clay, Rene Cournoyer, Felix Dolci, William Emard, and Jayson Rampersad, with Tanni Chronopoulos serving as the alternative. Notably, the all-rounder Felix Dolci will participate in only five events. Despite having a strong chance of reaching the all-around final, he has chosen to sit out of the pommel horse in the qualifications. He expressed, “For this event we’re really focusing on the team final.”
