Jonathan Owens challenges Simone Biles
Having a sprint session between the two seems highly possible. Both are competitive and strive to be the best in whatever they do. Owens recently had a significant step up in his NFL career, making starts in almost all games. In fact, in his latest game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he got his first interception for the Texans, in addition to a fumbled recovery. Thus, he talked about Biles having an influence on him while also challenging her in a 40-yard dash to test her mettle. It all comes from a backstory of a rope climbing challenge that he lost.
“She got em, but she might get me in the jump, I don’t know. We’ll have to see pound per pound, you know it’s a little different. I know you have seen the one video on the rope climb. She didn’t tell me they do that every day. I said now we gotta race in a 40 and then we would be even,” said Owens.
The earlier challenge did not go well for Owens as he lost fair and square in a rope climbing contest. Biles emerged as the clear winner there, and hence, Owens now wants to test her competitiveness in the 40-yard dash.
