The Lambeau Field was packed with a hoard full of spectators in attendance on 3rd December 2023, for the playoffs between the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. The crowd roared in awe when they spotted gymnastics queen Simone Biles and twelve-time Grammy award-winning artist Taylor Swift. While gymnast graced her presence in the frozen tundra to support Packers’ strong safety Jonathan Owens, Swift cheered for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

As the showdown between the two teams unfolded, the playoff ended with the Packers taking the victory with 27-19. Nevertheless, a month after the adrenaline-packed playoff, Biles made an intriguing revelation about her perspective on how she felt about the Chiefs’ defeat and how she managed to ‘Shake it Off.’

On January 10th, Simone Biles revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair for their February 2024 issue, about various nooks and crannies about her personal and professional fronts. While covering avenues about her vocation and her comeback, the pin dropped to the Packers vs Chiefs’ 13th-week showdown in Green Bay.

Conceding with how she felt seeing her posters in Lambeau Field, the gymnast stated, “It’s a little bit weird because I’m like, This is definitely not my gig.” Adding to this, Biles said, “But I know how excited [the fans] are.” She even appreciated the fans for their immense support for the Packers and said, “The fans are…I wouldn’t even call them crazy; they’re dedicated. They love their players as if those are their children.”

Interestingly, though Biles and Swift were in attendance together during the playoff, they didn’t get the opportunity to click the selfie together, as they both were sitting in different sections. However, as the match concluded with the Packers taking the reins on the scoreboard, Biles said, “… and I’m not sure they[Chiefs] were exactly happy that the Packers were beating them.”

Back in 2014, when Swift released her song “Shake It Off“, her fandom went into a frenzy with her new melody. However, the fan who took the front seat was none other than Simone Biles. Taking to her X handle, the gymnast penned her encomium and wrote, “I really like Taylor Swift’s new song. Shake it off, Shake it off,” and took all the social media brownie points.

On the other hand, when Biles withdrew from the all-around event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics in the wake of ‘twisties’, the gymnast’s fans extended their support for her. Joining forces with Biles’ fandom, Taylor Swift also took a moment to acknowledge the gymnast’s resilience and wrote, “I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.” To which Biles replied, “I’m crying 🥺🤍 how special. I love you
