With the athletic season in full swing, cross-sports aficionados in America currently have an abundance of options. It appears that newlyweds Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have a comparable dilemma. Texas native Biles has long been a fan of the Houston Texans, she met her husband when he was a Texans player. However, one week after their wedding he accepted the Green Bay Packers offer and moved to their home ground.

The NFL has always been a favorite of Biles and her close pals. It appears that the close friends are finding it challenging to choose their stance since Owens’s team has changed. Biles is obviously on her husband’s side, but would her bridesmaids be willing to extend their support for Owens?

Simone was in attendance at the pre-season game for Owens a majority of which the Green Bay Packers won. The seven-time Olympic medalist went from supporting him in a Texans jersey to showing off his 36-packers jersey number this year. All seemed well in the hood as she paid him a final visit before heading to the global platform. However, ahead of her Worlds appearance, Biles took to her threads and wrote, “real heartbreak is when your friends get switched NFL teams.”

With no name-calling, the friend in question remains a mystery. While wrapped in NFL safety duties Owens didn’t leave any comments either. Dig a little and looks like Biles’ childhood bestie Rachel Moore shared a throwback picture wearing a Houston Texans jersey. She posted the Instagram story in early September with Simone and her younger sister Adria in matching emblems. Although Moore captioned, ?NEED A NEW GREEN BAY SHIRT(side eye emoji green and yellow heart emoji).??

As seen by her numerous displays of love for the Packers, Biles is now a devoted fan. Simone even attended the second weekend game and chanted “go pack go” highlighting? Owens’ jersey number “#34”. With all of this confusion occurring Biles has always been a constant supporter of her husband. Before the NFL season went underway, Jonathan had also opened up about the support he received from his wife.

The Owens openly express their love for one another on multiple occasions. Just before the NFL season commenced Jonathan showered?his gratitude towards his loving wife stating, “She Brings the Best Out of Me.”

Through all his challenges, including going undrafted, being waived off, and being unable to secure a spot on a team, he even decided to quit the NFL in 2018. Joining the Houston Texans in 2019 gave him some hope for the future. Throughout all the uncertainties thereafter Biles has always extended unwavering support being the one constant in his life.

Simone also faced her own obstacles during this time, including the pandemic and the Olympics withdrawal. The couple supported each other through these tough times. As they dominate their respective sports this year, their current objectives are winning the Lombardi Trophy and World Golds.
