Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens are often adored for their visible support towards each other, in career and otherwise. While each presents a unique path to extend a cheer, Simone is often seen flying miles to make her presence in the stands. Bengals, Bears, and Vikings, the Packers safety has found himself a staunch support on the field this NFL season.
Though Simone has constantly announced her appearance, it hasn’t always been a smooth sail for the gymnast. With the weather that Wisconsin has to offer, Biles has battled the odds to cherish her man from the stands. The Green Bay Packers fandom, aware of the conditions, took a playful dig at the gymnast as they presented a ‘Calm Down’ parody to welcome Taylor Swift to the stands.

The Green Bay Packers stars are all set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening. However, more to the persisting excitement comes from the icons off the field for the fans. With Taylor Swift’s and Biles‘ better halves partaking in the match, the spectators are eager for a glimpse. The Crispy Brothers, part of the Packers fandom, put out a spoof song inviting Taylor to stands rather than the suites. And in saying so, included Simone’s case in the clip.

The gist started by stating, “Come freeze your b*ns off with some Packers fanatics,” referencing Lambeau Field. “Yeah, I know I am kinda cheatin’ cuz Biles has a real good reason, and we welcomed her this season…” the lyrics further continued. Simone Biles, who has flown to many of Owens’ games, has previously expressed her repulsion towards Wisconsin’s weather.

The gymnast’s unwavering support
On October 29th, Simone Biles appeared as a cheerleader for her husband, Jonathan Owens in his nail biting, epochal match against the Vikings. The gymnast wore a white sweatshirt covered with the word “OWENS” in bold yellow and green text alongside an image of the NFL star. However, the outfit did not prove to be the right support for Biles who suffered the wrath of the weather.

After being stranded, shivering, the Olympian took to Threads to weave a confession. “I’m NOT built for cold weather,” she wrote after surviving the -5 degrees Celsius. The reason stems from the 26-year-old’s warm comfort in her native: Houston, Texas. While her native faces a yearly average of 29 degrees Celsius, it comes down to 8 in Wisconsin. Nonetheless, Biles has ensured to announce her presence every time needed; elevating the status of the duo away from the mats.
