Their bond runs deep, as shown on Don’s Instagram, where he’s often hyping up his buddy. When Simone and Jo tied the knot last year, Don shared a carousel post posing with Owens, calling him the “man of the hour.” He kept it short and sweet, writing: “Could write a lot but!!!We know what it is 🤞🏿bro 💯 Jonathan Owens this gone be a week for the record books for you…!!!!” From wedding vibes to chess battles, this duo’s bromance is clearly checkmate-level strong!

But the NFL star did not spare a thought or even show the minimum compassion for his friend. Getting dominated in the game of chess, Owens’ friend uploaded a picture of the game while he acknowledged Owens’ mastery. Calling him the better player, the groomsman wrote, “@jowens you next big dog.”
