The LSU standout, Olivia Dunne has been a staunch supporter of the LSU Tigers. Attending games or celebrating fellow gymnast’s achievements, Livvy has been a constant cheerleader. This time around, the highest-paid female NCAA athlete showed up once again in support as LSU Tiger, Jayden Daniels claimed a title worthy of the university’s history records.
On the 9th of December, Daniels clinched what Sports Illustrated calls ‘America’s most prestigious award‘ in college football. Olivia Dunne, who was awaiting the very exact results couldn’t contain her excitement after the announcement. Cheering on the fellow athlete, Livvy took to her Instagram to express her elation.

On Saturday, Jayden Daniels was announced as the winner of the Heisman Trophy. Upon winning, he became the third in the LSU program and second as a Quarterback to take home the coveted award. Joe Burrow, and Billy Cannon were the other two who framed the prestigious list. “IT’S ALWAYS BEEN THE TIGERS,“ Olivia wrote sharing a post from ESPN. The congratulatory post merged the similarities of the recent winners of LSU, honoring the program.

With Jayden’s marveling records for the season, Olivia’s previous post reflected her wait for the LSU Tiger to clinch the award. “Jayden for Heisman!!!“ her previous story read as the nation anticipated the results. Having won the Davey O’Brien Award, Walter Payton Player of the Year Award, and more over the past few weeks, the LSU Tigers Quarterback carried the hopes of the University and more.

Dreams come true for Jayden Daniels
In 2022 Jayden Daniels departed from Arizona State to join LSU for coach Brian Kelly. Since then he threw for 3,812 passing yards and scored 40 passing touchdowns. “A transfer quarterback that comes into your program has to win the locker room and you do it by your work ethic. You do it by being humble, you do it with your actions and he did that on a day-to-day basis,” Kelly said. Daniels received 503 first-place votes and 2,029 points following his massive numbers.

“This is a dream come true,” Daniels said in his acceptance speech. He beat out Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to claim the reward.
