American gymnast Jordan Chiles was in attendance when the Houston Texans played host to the Denver Broncos. The fans thronging the NRG Stadium were treated to a spectacle. Coming off the back of a five-match winning streak, the Broncos were met with considerable resistance. The Texans prevailed 22-17 in a close encounter, sending their fans into raptures.

That win brought the Texans level with the Indianapolis Colts in the win-loss column. Both teams are presently 7-5, though the Colts are presently second in the AFC South table. Regardless, as the home side kept their playoff hopes alive, renowned gymnast Jordan Chiles was a first-hand witness to the Texans getting back to winning ways. She further shared a memory from that venue on her social media, with her heart reportedly stolen by a prominent figure.

Jordan Chiles took to her Instagram to share several images from the match. One of them had her posing solo while the other featured Toro, the blue adoraBULL mascot of the Texans, standing next to her. Chiles captioned the images thus, “Toro has stolen my heart.” She tagged the Houston Texans, Toro, and also Houston-based photographer Michael Anthony via the post.

Meanwhile, as Chiles and other Texans fans rejoice, the team has a tough job on their hand. The New York Jets lie in wait for the Houston Texans next. On the same day, the Colts will travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. The Jacksonville Jaguars currently lead them both in the AFC South table with a commanding 8-4 record for the season. With things getting interesting, Jordan Chiles will hope that her team makes an argument for inclusion in the post-season playoffs to add more gloss to an already memorable year for her.

A holiday season to remember for the gymnast

Jordan Chiles had an eventful start to the holiday season. Chiles got to be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, representing the Olympics as part of that spectacle. That was the second bucket list item fulfilled this year after becoming an American flag-bearer at an international event. The event in question was the 2023 Santiago Pan American Championships in Chile.

With the 2024 Paris Olympics on the horizon, Jordan Chiles will look to qualify for the biggest event in her calendar. She recently lost one of her biggest supporters, her maternal grandfather, Gene Velasquez on November 25. Chiles dropped everything to rush to his bedside when she heard he was hospitalized. She will now definitely look to honor his memory by adding to her trophy cabinet on the banks of the Seine.
