“We are not done yet,” LSU senior Haleigh Bryant declared after clinching the All-Around title with an impressive score of 39.800 at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championships on March 23rd. And she has been proving that correct. The gymnast’s individual scores and performance at the semi-finals of the NCAA Gymnastics Championship of 2024 landed LSU in the finals of the NCAA Championships. This made her win this year’s AAI award becoming the fourth LSU gymnast to grab it. Now it is time for more.
Recently LSU Gymnastics put up a new post on X celebrating her grabbing All-America honor. With this, she became “The only LSU gymnast to earn All-America honors on every event and the all-around in BOTH the regular season and postseason.” She is just the second gymnast to claim honors in every event in the postseason. Bryant earned five more All-America honors after her performance in the NCAA semifinals. This also earned her a national title. Bryant already has five honors in all four events and the all-around during the regular season. She has earned 10 All-America honors in 2024. This takes her career total to 27, making him the topmost LSU gymnast in this regard. With her five postseason honors in 2024, she surpassed the previous record of 23 by Sarah Finnegan and Rheagan Courville. But what was her highest score?
Haleigh Bryant’s dominance in the semifinals
The 22-year-old Bryant all around won a 39.7125 score. The LSU senior finished the regular season as the top-ranked all-around gymnast in the nation, and she truly lived up to that reputation. Bryant showcased her skill and consistency by earning scores of 9.90 or higher in all four events, achieving her highest score of 9.95 on the balance beam.

Her amazing performance was crucial for the Tigers throughout the season. In the vault event, Bryant contributed a strong 9.90 to LSU’s overall score of 49.325. Moving on to the uneven bars, she anchored the team with an impressive 9.925, helping the Tigers secure first place with a total of 49.475 points at the halfway mark.
On the floor exercise, she earned a solid 9.9375, playing a big part in LSU making it to the finals for the 10th time ever. Bryant’s back-to-back smashing performances even won praise from coach Jay Clark as well. “She’s that consistent. That’s just who she is,” Clark said. “She’s been tremendous, she’s been an all-timer,” Clark had said previously about Bryant.
