After gaining a perfect 10 from one judge in the LSU senior night that took place in March 2024, Olivia Dunne averaged a 9.80 and a 9.975 on the bars and beam, respectively, during the SEC Championships. She went into a celebratory mode after LSU bagged their fifth SEC title recently. Those viral images saw Livvy going all out to delve into the “purple reign.” That reign made LSU the top seed in the NCAA Regional second round in Fayetteville, Arkansas. And Olivia’s LSU kept its name.

They are now among the eight teams appearing in the 2024 NCAA Gymnastics Championships from April 18-20 in Fort Worth, Texas. And keeping all the celebrations behind, it is once again time to hit the practice arena. Olivia, a true team player, as coach Jay Clark had once pointed out, is also back in the business, keeping in mind the upcoming glory as her latest Instagram post found her preparing hard.

As per the Instagram story, Olivia Dunne was seen rotating on the uneven bars and having a perfect landing during her practice sessions. Captioning her sessions “Gettin Natty’s Ready” and tagging the LSU Gymnastics, she had her teammates cheering for her as she delivered what seemed like a perfect 10 score in her routine. Along a similar line, LSU put up a team effort in their triumph in the regionals.

LSU sealed the victory by defeating No. 10 Arkansas (197.825), No. 7 Kentucky (197.475), and No. 15 Minnesota (197.400). The team score was LSU’s second-highest at a regional competition. “I’m proud of the girls. They had a consistent and steady mindset from start to finish,” a proud coach Jay Clark had told on that occasion. Let us take a look at how to get a glimpse of LSU in action.
