The two-time Olympian once revealed it to fans and followers on Twitter. Moreover, a couple of years before she tweeted, an incident proved her fear.

What is the thing Simone Biles fears the most?

Biles has become the most decorated gymnast through her hard work, skills, and determination. She has persevered through several hardships in her life to become the athlete that people know today. However, there is one thing that the gymnast could not overcome. Something that she still struggles with to this day.

It is her fear of insects; the gymnast has a debilitating fear of the creepy crawlies. She has even exhibited this fear on several occasions.
And people even caught one such incident on camera. Previously, Biles even tweeted about this fear, albeit hilariously, to share it with her fans.

In September 2015, the seven-time Olympic medalist revealed her fear through a tweet. It read, ?When I see a bug my inner usain bolt comes out.?

Following this, her fans tweeted to show their support for the athlete. Some even opened up about their fears of various critters, while others could not get enough of it and retweeted the post.

The incident that was caught on camera

In 2014, Biles clinched gold in three events at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championship, including the all-around, balance beam, and floor exercise events. However, chaos ensued at the meet when she went to the podium to receive one of her gold medals.

Soon after the US national anthem, the silver medalist of the event pointed to Biles? flower bouquet. It turned out a bee had hitched a ride amidst the flowers. And as soon as the other athlete pointed it out to the decorated gymnast, the bee took flight and started terrorizing the athlete.

Naturally, she reacted as any person with the fear would under similar circumstances. The gymnast took a few steps back, screamed, and then jumped off the platform, the bee chasing her all the while.
