Is Olivia Dunne's offer to sit with her worth more than 30 years of free tickets?

Olivia Dunne and her boyfriend Paul Skenes drummed up quite the buzz while appearing on ESPN’s College GameDay Show. Dunne even created controversy by taking a jab at Nick Saban while picking between Vanderbilt and South Carolina. “Someone once said that Vanderbilt was the easiest place to play in the SEC, but not today,” said Dunne as she picked Vanderbilt.

Maybe that’s why New Orleans Saints head coach Darren Rizzi was excited to have Dunne and Skenes attend their game on Sunday. “I got to get Livvy and Paul down to the Superdome,” said Rizzi, extending an invitation. “Here’s an open invitation right now, Livvy and Paul. Let’s get you down to the Superdome this Sunday and get you part of the action,” he added.

The invitation may have been an attempt to create some much-needed hype around the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are currently 4-7 in the NFL. However, it was not to be, as Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes attended the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens game on Sunday. “Paul Livvy,” the Pittsburgh Steelers page posted on Instagram with a snapshot of the power couple.

Maybe it was because of the Skenes’ Pittsburgh connection that the couple decided not to respond to Rizzi’s open invitation. After all, the MLB Rookie of the Year is among the biggest sports stars in Pittsburgh right now. The Pittsburgh Pirates star and Livvy posed for the camera, with the LSU gymnast sporting a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey.

Olivia Dunne‘s boyfriend also expressed his excitement ahead of the Steelers game. “Excited to be out here. Hopefully (they’ll) get a good win against the Ravens. So here we go Steelers, let have a good one,” said the 22-year-old MLB star. Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t disappoint, winning a thrilling game against the Ravens with an 18-16 scoreline.

And while the Saints also managed to land an emphatic 35-14 win against the Browns, all eyes are on Paul Skenes. The rising star, who recently grabbed the MLB Rookie of the Year award, has become the center of attention thanks to his Topps card.

Olivia Dunne, Pittsburgh Pirates, and collectors scramble over Paul Skenes’ card

Paul Skenes had come to the MLB from LSU with a lot of hype and lived up to it all. The baseball player had a historic first year in the MLB. “His 1.96 ERA was the lowest for a rookie who made at least 20 starts in a season since the White Sox Reb Russell in 1913,” reported MLB.com. Hence, following the Rookie of the Year award, Skenes’s Topps card value skyrocketed.

Paul Skenes is part of the 250-card collection featuring autographed cards. So the Pittsburgh Pirates offered massive rewards to the person who could pull the card. The Pirates offered 30 years of free tickets, two autographed jerseys, a meet-and-greet with the man of the hour, and Batting practice with the team in exchange for the card. However, Olivia Dunne raised the stakes.

“Let’s raise the stakes. The person who finds the card can sit with me at a Pirates game in my suite,” the 2024 NCAA champion commented on the post. However, it seems the card’s value is attracting collectors too. In an attempt to beat the Pirates and Dunne, Sports Card, Etc., a local card collector’s shop is offering a mind-boggling amount for the card.
