PHOTOS: Simone Biles’ Height Next to Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, and Other NBA Players

In terms of height differences, most gymnasts stand below four feet. Due to their low center of gravity, they can leap high in the air and land on both their feet. Hence, gymnasts are short in stature.

Back in 2016, Simone tweeted a picture of herself along with NBA legend, LeBron James. During his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Biles attended their game against the Charlotte Hornets and stood aside James to take the epic photograph. Notably, James is 6’8″ tall while Biles is 4’9″. Likewise, she was seen posing with Kevin Love as well.

Among other players, she was once also clicked alongside Shaquille O’Neal. Big Shaq, who is 7’1″ outshone Biles in terms of height. During the New England Patriots’ comeback win against the Atlanta Falcons, the duo stood together for a picture that went viral. Fans found the significant height difference between these two greats incredible.

In another picture, she was spotted with Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki, which highlighted the height difference between the two, again. Dirk is regarded as the greatest Mavericks player of all time, while also being one of the best power forwards in the league’s history. Posting the picture on Twitter, the gymnast sent her best wishes to Nowitzki, ahead of his 2016 season with the franchise.

When comparing NBA basketball players to other athletes, there is a much lesser height disparity amongst them. Although Michael Phelps is not as tall as NBA players, he stands at significant 6’4″ inches.

After their famous performances at the 2016 Rio Olympics, Sports Illustrated featured Phelps, Katie Ledecky, and Biles in an epic picture that rained gold. Once again, the significant height difference between Biles and the other two athletes was visible.

Although she is short in stature, her talents cannot go unnoticed. Arguably the greatest gymnast of all time, Simone Biles can easily outclass her counterparts and opponents, displaying skills better than the best in the business.
