Aleah Finnegan, a Filipino-American, recently became the first Philippine gymnast to make her way to the Olympics. The 21-year-old had posted a total of 51.366 in all-around that pushed her for the 2024 Paris qualification. With that historic feat in place, recognition has found its way to the LSU gymnast. And as she ventures ahead, Olivia Dunne stands right by, extending her support.

Aleah Finnegan recently took to her Instagram to share a collaborative post with injury Attorney, Gordon McKernan. “The Get Gordon team is proud to announce our partnership with LSU Gymnast and our first Olympic athlete, Aleah Finnegan!” the post captioned as the gymnast and McKernan posed together. Adding that they were thrilled to extend their support, Get Gordan wished to celebrate Finnegan’s historic achievements. In on the view of course was fellow LSU Tiger, Olivia Dunne.

“Standin on bidness,” Livvy wrote hinting at a sense of approval and excitement for the huge step ahead. The 21-year-old herself has adorned numerous deals, becoming the highest-paid collegiate athlete. While Olivia Dunne has conquered the NIL through her strategic social media excellence, Aleah Finnegan has savored international gymnastics stage to get to her dreams; exuding a relying support.
The rising gymnastics star finds light
For 21-year-old Aleah Finnegan, Olympics has been an ultimate goal. The LSU Tiger previously announced her retirement from gymnastics after failing to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. However, an opportunity to support her dream found its way to Finnegan no later. Reportedly, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines called the 21-year to represent the nation at 2022 Southeast Asian Games.

“I really wasn’t sure if that was something that I wanted to do,” Aleah says remarking that she was settling into collegiate career. “I ultimately made the decision because my body was in the right space, my mind was in the right space,” she further told Olympics.com. Aleah eventually went on to win four medals; two golds and two silvers. From there Asian Gymnastics Championships, 2023 Worlds, and Paris 2024 all fell in a neat line for the gymnast. While Olivia Dunne’s help might prove well needed in NIL, Aleah has proven to own gymnastics with her grit and skills.
