Leanne Wong is a multi-talented individual indeed! While she is the star of the Florida Gators gymnastics team, She is also an aspiring medical student. However, even after juggling all these, the elite gymnast is the proud owner of a business that sells cute bowties for girls. At 20 years of age, Wong is already inspiring the younger generations by managing three professions at once—an athlete, a successful businesswoman, and a medical student.
The young athlete also made the Gators proud by earning the All-SEC honors to further cement her reputation as a class athlete. And now, she has added yet another feather to her crown by growing her business well enough to generate a revenue that would probably leave many in shock.
Leanne Wong generates 6-figure revenue from ‘Leanne Wong Bowtique’

In what was a proud announcement, the official X account of the Gators Gymnastics tweeted about Leanne Wong getting featured on SportsCenter. And no, it was not for her gymnastics skills but for her entrepreneurial abilities that helped ‘Leanne Wong Bowtique’ grow as a business. Trying to find something productive to do, Wong founded the company in December 2021.

Although initially, she did not pay much heed to her business’s financial aspects, the business soon began to grow. Her bows were in demand and now, Wong has generated a six-figure revenue since the company’s inception. Speaking about her daughter, Wong’s mother stated, “We have a lot of little girls young girls who Leanne inspires she’s one of the first who thought of wearing hair bows during gymnastics meet.”
She also doubled down on the fact that previously, a lot of girls wore ribbons. But once Wong came up with the hair bows, the girls replaced the ribbons with bows. Wong too, expressed her delight and called it “an honor” to be able to ship such a large number of bows to date. In fact, last year, Leanne Wong publicly thanked the ones who helped her business grow.

Wong expresses gratitude for all the love and support for her business
Back in November 2023, Wong posted a long message on her Instagram narrating the success story of her business. She seemed elated to announce that her once startup business idea was now a fully flourishing business. Wong wrote, “In December of 2021, the Leanne Wong Bowtique came to life and I can’t be more grateful and blessed to see how my business has flourished!”

She further extended her gratitude to the ones who supported and helped her grow her business. The 20-year-old captioned, “All I can say is, thank you, to everyone for all of the love and support and everyone who has helped my business grow!” Thus, Leanne Wong remains a stark example of how no one can be too busy if they love their work wholeheartedly.
