Olivia Dunnе has revealed how she gets motivated. And no, it is not from some mental toughness program or a training regime. As per her latest collaboration video with Purina Pro Plan, Livvy’s motivation comes from her pet dog, Roux. Dunne, who is an NCAA athlete, has made waves in recent times. Besides being a fabulous gymnast, Dunne is also a social media star. And because of her multiple commitments, Dunne feels like she is leading a double life. 

And while doing so can be immensely stressful, Olivia Dunne has spilled the beans on how she manages to keep herself stress-free. Dunne stated, “Roux is my little break from reality. I’m living like a double life. There’s me, an athlete, a student, and there’s the social media side. She doesn’t care about all the outside noise, doesn’t care how many followers I have, she just doesn’t. I always say feel good perform good and I think that’s the same for Roux in my mind she’s like a little athlete she’s always running around. I will not lie, I spoil her. She’s my baby. I just love her so much.”

Olivia Dunne then reflected on how she was inclined towards the sport from her childhood. However, with all the negativities and pressure, Dunne sometimes feels like quitting. However, when such low moments hit her, Dunne always remembers why she started in the first place, which helps her to keep going and strive for more success in life. And that is exactly why Olivia Dunne is all geared up for her LSU return. 

Olivia Dunne plans LSU return but will miss her boyfriend 

Olivia Dunne played a pivotal role in propelling LSU to the championship last season. However, soon after the season was done, rumors surfaced about Dunne not continuing further with gymnastics. Much to everyone’s relief, Olivia Dunne has announced her plans for the current season. She will be returning back to Louisiana and will be reuniting with her LSU ‘sisters’. But as she strives for more success in the NCAA realm, Olivia Dunne feels a bit sad about one particular aspect. 

In an interview with Bleacher Report, Dunne opened up about the downside of joining LSU. Dunne stated that by doing so, she could not see her boyfriend frequently. Dunne’s boyfriend, Paul Skenes, is an MLB star, playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The duo have been together for some time now and have expressed unwavering support for each other on several occasions. Thus, with everything seeming to be lining up perfectly, this season promises to be another Olivia Dunne special.
