This year, Dancing with the Stars was all about the Olympians. Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and rugby star Ilona Maher quickly became fan favorites, making it all the way to finals and raking in massive viewership numbers. With 6.36 million viewers, the season 33 finale was the biggest since 2020. So, USA TODAY Sports couldn’t help but ask Jordan Chiles about a possible appearance on the show in the future.
Reminding Chiles of her BFF Simone Biles appearing on the show, the reporter inquired if Chiles fancies herself as a good dancer. “I mean, a lot of people say I have really good dance moves. I mean, I like dancing, like you know, being involved in like that area,” revealed Jordan Chiles. However, the two-time Olympic medalist even went one step further.
“I told myself, you know, if I wasn’t an athlete, I would definitely be in the dance music area of things,” Jordan Chiles confessed in the interview. “If they did come knocking on my door, I definitely would say yes,” the gymnastics icon told USA TODAY Sports. And there’s little reason to doubt either her dance moves or her love for music.

After all, Chiles is no stranger to growing to music, even during competition. Every floor routine the Oregon native or her fellow gymnasts perform is accompanied by music from stars like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and others. Hence, the Paris 2024 gold medalist already has a distinct advantage over the likes of Stephen Nedoroscik or Ilona Maher. Neither the pommel horse specialist nor the rugby seven bronze medalist danced before DWTS.

Maybe that’s why the Olympian is confident about her chances of appearing in a future DWTS season. “And, you know, I don’t know, you guys might see me at some point in time,” Jordan Chiles explained during the interview. However, Dancing with the Stars isn’t the only show Chiles has recently shown an interest in. In fact, one show on her wishlist may even surprise you.
After two Olympic appearances, Jordan Chiles is dreaming beyond gymnastics
After the Paris 2024 bronze medal controversy, Chiles took matters into her own hands and filed an appeal. And while that episode of her life is yet to see its finale, Chiles has mentally moved on from the distress it caused. Now she is open to exploring far more than just appearing to be Dancing with the Stars. In fact, the two-time Olympian is interested in pursuing a career in real estate.

Yes, you read that right. After the curtain closes on Jordan Chiles’ gymnastics career, she may just move into real estate and would love to star on Netflix’s Selling Sunset. “If I was on ‘Selling Sunset,’ I literally would cry because those people, I love them so much,” the Texas-based Olympic gymnast told The New York Post.

“I’ve watched every single season, and they definitely have different personalities, but I don’t know. If they want me as a guest, I will be a guest.” said the Pan-Am Games champion. With Dancing with the Stars becoming yet another potential candidate, it seems the gymnastics icon is all in for exposing an entertainment career as well. However, she’s not making the jump just yet.
Despite Jordan Chiles showing interest in real estate and starring in TV shows, her gymnastics journey isn’t over yet. While she is taking a break after the Gold Over America Tour, Jordan Chiles hopes to bounce back next year. On December 10, the YMCA National Gymnastics Championship & Invitational announced Chiles as the keynote speaker of their 2025 event. So, for now, gymnastics remains the Olympic gold medalist’s main focus.
