Simone Biles had mixed emotions

Having the final say to turn pro was wholly in her hands. But, her parents, Ronaldo Biles and Nellie Biles played a significant role. Hardly some kids turn pro at a very young age. For Biles, that opportunity came in thick and fast. In 2013, she became the first African American woman to win the all-around title at the World Championships. He told her how great the opportunity was and wanted her to think carefully. Hence, when one becomes a pro, added responsibility comes with it. Finance remains an important aspect to consider. And this is when Biles hired an adviser. After the meeting, she went to her brother, Adam, to discuss the experience. After exchanging a few pleasantries, Biles felt “weird after the meeting”.
