“Is She Being Forced”: Internet Erupts in Backlash at Father’s Approach to Gymnastics Daughter

Sometimes doing what you love can come at a higher cost. A similar story is of Rolland Pollard who got famous on the internet for the gymnastics and stunts he performed with his 4-year-old daughter. There is no doubt in the fact that they are absolutely brilliant at what they do, and their energy has been loved by one and all.

Recently, Pollard uploaded a video of him and Jayden her daughter performing a stunt on social media. Jayden is looking terrified while she is flipped in the air and the entire internet can feel the pain. With the appreciation, Pollard has also faced a backlash from his fans regarding the recent stunt.

Rolland Pollard performs a stunt that is a threat to his daughter’s safety

Rolland Pollard and his 4-year-old daughter have been absolutely amazing at the cheer and tumbling gymnastic stunts that they do together. They have been seen performing these since Jayden could barely walk and this rarely beautiful talent of Jayden has won the entire internet’s heart. However, recently pollard posted a video of him and Jayden performing a stunt inspired by Michael Head on Instagram with the caption, “showed Jayden a stunt tonight and she was down to give it ago.” Some of the fans are not appreciative of this as Jayden can clearly be seen how terrified she is while getting flipped in the air.

In the video, the duo is seen starting the stunt with a flip and then Pollard whooshes her in the air balancing her on one hand. The same thing is repeated twice in the video and Jayden’s expressions say everything about how scared she was to perform the stunt. Some of the fans were not at all happy with the little girl’s fear, they feel as if it is being forced upon her. Even Rolland himself in the video stated that “You got daddy scared” sensing the fear in her daughter which was not appreciated by the netizens. Fans have expressed their anger and disappointment towards this new video.

No doubt the father-daughter duo is known for the brilliant gymnastic stunts they do but some days the internet feels like it takes a toll on Jayden. The internet has showered her with appreciation as well as is concerned about her in the recent video posted on Instagram. She is seen so terrified in the video, where one of the netizens expressed, “She looks terrified, Is she being forced to do this to make dad happy?” The fear of Jayden has raised serious questions and concern about Rolland’s parenthood.

In the video, Pollard is seen saying that he was scared that she could not do the video to which he faced a lot of backlash. One of the netizens expressed, “Why does she always look so terrified while performing stunts? She asks why did I scare you? And you respond with because I didn’t think you would do it right? Why wouldn’t you respond with because you are my baby and I don’t want you to accidentally get hurt?”?It was not a good sight for the internet.

Another fan reacted, stating “Poor child looks terrified!….She never looks like she wants to be doing this.” A lot of netizens questioned Rolland about the safety of his daughter. The fans also stated, “She looked so terrified. Is she okay?” Adding further opinions, one of the netizens stated, “This man is unbelievable with what he?s doing to his daughter and he posts it proudly as if he?s achieving something! The girl is either crying or scared in most of the videos!!!! Someone stop this man! Wtf!” No matter how good they are at doing the gymnastics, at some points the internet feels it gets too much for the 4-year-old.
