Olivia Dunne debuted with Sports Illustrated in 2023, featuring in the SI Swimsuit issue. But that wasn’t enough of an internet-breaking moment for the highest-paid NCAA athlete. Booking her SI spot at the upcoming 2024 Swimsuit edition, the 21-year-old Olivia Dunne made her fans go gaga over her recent shoot.

Boasting 12.2 million followers on Instagram and TikTok combined, Livvy now landed in Portugal. Last year, when she dropped her beach bombs after Ben Watts photographed her in Puerto Rico, fans wanted more. Now, they have what they desire.

Olivia Dunne stuns the internet with her rookie shoot first looks

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit took to their Instagram handle to write, “We are in awe of Livvy Dunne’s 2024 rookie photos. Swipe to see some of Livvy Dunne’s first few SI Swimsuit 2024 images from her rookie shoot in Porto and North Portugal.”

SI even quoted one of Livvy’s lines, which reads, “SI Swim means to me being comfortable in your own skin and being undeniably you, which is something I still work on to this day.” The pictures, featuring Olivia Dunne in a white bikini, were a dream. In one picture, she also rocked a white skirt paired with the bikini top.

Pulling off a nude make-up look and letting down her golden tresses, Livvy looked confident while facing the camera. The editor-in-chief of SI Swimsuit said, “The decision to invite Livvy back to appear in the 2024 issue as a rookie was an easy one.”

Further added, “This year, we are featuring Livvy as a well-established, industrious entrepreneur who is here to stay, who continues to break barriers, continues to work hard and forge an unforgettable path for herself and future generations of female athletes.” With this shoot, Livvy’s 2023 SI Swimsuit shoot marks one year. And she couldn’t contain her mirth.

Livvy’s emotional ride

Speaking of the delectable offers which she had received after the Swimsuit issue, she shared, “Ever since my last SI shoot, I feel like it just opened a bunch of new doors into the modeling world and media world. I announced at the ESPYs, I worked with new magazine brands, and it’s just been really cool.” 

This time, the shoot setting was a little different from last year. The SI team opted for cobblestone streets and a lush green background instead of sands and salty waters. She shared in ecstasy, “Last year was my first year [with SI Swimsuit], and all the girls welcomed me with open arms—I consider them my SI family now.”
