The magazine claimed to have acquired some exclusive information regarding the pop star’s love life with actor Barry Keoghan. The news outlet claimed to have talked to an insider with ties to both the stars. “They are both young and career-focused,” said the insider.

“They’ve decided to take a break,” claimed the exclusive report, hinting Carpenter and Keoghan may reunite in the future. However, the narrative soon got flipped on its head. TikTok star Breckie Hill interested herself in the equation, dropping hints that the actor may have been unfaithful to Carpenter. Yet, how did Olivia Dunne end up in the controversy?

The answer lies in the ongoing social media rivalry between Livvy Dunne and Breckie Hill, which has been simmering since July 2023. When Hill hinted that she might have been the cause of Barry Keoghan’s alleged infidelity to Sabrina Carpenter, Dunne couldn’t resist firing back with a TikTok video. The 22-year-old took a shot at Hill in the video titled, “I just sit back and laugh.” 

“When her true colors are finally revealed in the national media,” Olivia Dunne captioned the short, as she celebrated in the clip. While the cryptic nature of the post initially confused several fans, the NCAA champion dispelled the air of mystery. “Yes,” she responded to a TikTok follower who questioned if the clip was about her fellow TikToker.

Dunne did not veil her jabs at Hill, as she was more than willing to clear the air for those who felt confused. “I love Sabrina… it’s about who homewrecked her relationship,” wrote Livvy Dunne when one follower mistook her post as a criticism of Sabrina Carpenter. However, neither Carpenter nor Keoghan’s representatives have commented or officially acknowledged the split yet.

However, that didn’t seem to stop Olivia Dunne from going all guns blazing against her TikTok rival. Yet, you may be wondering why the otherwise controversy-free athlete would dive into such an incident. Well, that’s because of their feud.

How Breckie Hill got under Olivia Dunne’s skin

Breckie Hill’s feud with the LSU Tigers star started in 2023 without any provocation from Dunne. In July 2023, Breckie Hill uploaded a TikTok video comparing her ‘rizz level’ with the former Team USA member. In the video, Hill put on a filter, which gave her a score of 96/100, branding Hill as a ‘rizz god.’ However, it was the comparison that ruffled the gymnast’s feathers.

“Proof my rizz is better than Livvy’s” Hill captioned the post. Olivia Dunne, who had been dealing with injuries during most of 2023, saw the post and responded in kind. “Me when she can’t keep my name out of her mouth,” wrote Livvy in response to Hill’s callout. And while things had died down, the rumors seem to have reignited the feud.

Aside from posting videos accusing Barry Keoghan of infidelity, the TikTok star with over 6 million followers across social media has stayed tight-lipped. Hill has yet to respond to Livvy’s video, which seemingly revels in her social media setback. It appears that the final chapter of this story has yet to unfold.
