The supportive and loving Biles family

In the beginning, Simone Biles? experience with parental figures was rocky at best. Her birth mother, Shannon Biles, struggled with addiction and could not provide for her children. And her birth father was never in the picture.

But when the 32 global medals holder was just 6, their maternal grandfather, Ronald Biles, and his wife, Nellie, adopted her and her sister Adria. Since then, the gymnast has never gone a day without the love of supportive and involved parents.
