The collegiate gymnastics season is back to fetch its best team for the 2024 year and the LSU Tigers are on a roll. On the 16th of December, LSU gymnastics saw the opening of its first-ever meet for the season with Gym 101. As the Tigers took to the ground to mark a right beginning to the upcoming season, LSU-fame Olivia Dunne ensured to stick right around.

Dunne, in her senior year, has revealed wanting to make the most of the final season. After missing a partial of it last season due to an injury, Livvy is determined to fetch LSU its first win. And from the Tigers’ continued updates, the grit seemed to make its presence.

On Saturday, the LSU Tiger TV took to Instagram to ensure that fans off the stands did not miss much. The team started with a group hug to find the right start. “The lady tigers getting ready to hit the floor for the first time this season,” the initial story read. Stirring up the emotions, the team’s cheers and chants kept the audience around for a promising evening. And as the day proceeded, among the team’s excellence on the floor, beam, bars, and vault, Livvy gracefully picked the former to lend a contribution.

The SI model started with two somersaults from the edge to end with a perfect 2-flip on landing. “Olivia Dunne STUCK the landing on this one,” the story on her performance captioned. Executing the land, Livvy seamlessly transitioned into the further routine on floor; an apparatus, among one of her two preferred.

Olivia’s performance was then taken on Haleigh Bryant on Balance Beam for a 9.875 and Aleah Finnegan on the same. The performances along with others summed up to put forth an impressive start.
