The NCAA Gymnastics Championships are all set to take flight in April. Now, the colleges are reuniting over the ‘meet’ season, which is working more as a warm-up session. Several underlying things are being overlooked with the fancy line of gymnastic events on the surface. Some things are known to the competitors and some are not. While most gymnasts are giving in despite being cognizant, others are addressing the issues. The sport of gymnastics has often left the world infuriated on account of the inaccuracies.
When we think of the gymnasts working their bodies off to make it to the top, a slight unfairness may sound like a misdeed. In the same line, the world mostly stays confused on which basis the judges are scoring the gymnasts. As the colleges are going head-on with each other, fans come up with their concerns.

“Although the gymnastics code of points (rulebook) could use a few tweaks, the real problem is that many college gymnastics judges simply don’t or won’t apply the current rules that exist!” an X user named Bart Conner wrote. From the description of the page, it looks like Conner is the dad of an Olympian, which asserts that he’s not unaware of the inconsistencies. On grounds of biases and oversight, the decisions of the judges often spark debate.

Rewinding a little, the Wolverines team went against Michigan University on January 12, 2024. Sierra Brooks, the class-apart performer, had anchored her team to victory with an all-around 39.850. It was not only a performance to marvel at, but also a record-breaking one (smashed 39.825 set previously). But still, her vault performance scores were questioned with “Can we replace literally every single NCAA judge because wth is this score,” on X. As the gymnastic domain has fans divided, let’s see what some people have to say.

Fans surface with mixed reactions
One fan kind of spoke in a neutral tone amid the debatable judging scenario,
Bart, it’s not that simple. The problem is complicated enough that saying, “judges just have to judge” actually puts the blame in one place where it should be in at least three. Judges, coaches and code all need to work to fix the problem.

Another fan blindly agreed with Bart Conner’s take on the system,
Totally agree Bart!

With as plain and unabashed thought, one fan sided with Conner in a more reckless way.
Time for robot judges

One fan spilled the real truth out in the open, while stating that biases hold the prime position.
They don’t want to apply them to the Olympians and famous Elite’s . That is the real problem. . Jade Carey ever getting a 10 with that form is cheating . Those judges should be fired

When some other X user said, “Maybe the judges will eventually feel some shame”.
I would continue to call out missed deductions and overly high scores on the broadcast! Maybe the judges will eventually feel some shame.
