While DWTS’s final trophy eluded Stephen Nedoroscik, he and her choreography partner, Rylee Arnold, are still drumming the hearts of their fans. With his pommel horse mastery, which he brought onto the dancing floor with Rylee, Stephen has now earned his spot as a co-host in the DWTS’s 2025 tour. They moved the fans with their innocence. They sprinkled the emotion with their bonds on the stage and into the fans’ hearts.

Stephen raved at his dancing coach, Rylee Arnold, to bring the best out of him by saying, “Rylee, you’re the best coach.” And to Rylee, collaboration with Stephen was “one of the best parts” of her year. That part, the DWTS days of their on-and-off-floor chemistry, earned many fans’ admiration and love. Even Stephen’s popularity is so immense that the pommel horse Olympic star gained the DWTS’s co-host seat this year. But the opening night didn’t go as planned.

The DWTS’s opening night was scheduled for January 7 this year, but unprecedented incidents led to a postponement. The venue, Richmond’s Altria Theatre, experienced a water crisis and a snowstorm, which left the organizers with no choice but to halt the event for now. Stephen Nedoroscik’s gymnastics stance, however, is making its way to another major competition—the Winter Cup 2025

Among the Winter Cup’s pre-qualified athletes, the 2024 Winter Cup silver medalist Stephen Nedoroscik earned his spot. Many of Stephen’s friends, including Brody Malone, Asher Hong, and Frederick Richards, are on the list. The competition is going to be a superb event to watch, but some doubt lingers. No, not for the Winter Cup, but for Stephen Nedoroscik.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Stephen Nedoroscik's heart still on the dance floor, or will he return to gymnastics glory?

Have an interesting take?

That doubt is sparked among Stephen’s fans. After seeing the gymnasts’ names on the USA Gymnastics website, many fans aren’t sure if Stephen Nedoroscik has confirmed his participation.

Nedoroscik’s fans are doubtful about his Winter Cup participation

Seeing the post by US Gymnastics on Facebook on 17 January, a top fan post reads, “I don’t think Stephen will be there since it says he’ll be on the DWTS tour, but great to see that he qualified!” Maybe the fan’s speculation is true, owing to Stephen’s nod to co-hosting the DWTS tour. He will co-host the show’s tour with Ilona Maher, Joey Graziadei, and Chandler Kinney.

Another fan didn’t beat around the bush and confirmed Stephen Nedoroscik’s absence from the Winter Cup gymnastics mat. The user jumped on Reddit and commented, “It’s confirmed Stephen won’t be competing.” Though it is not official, seriously, what would you expect after Stephen’s sweating with his dancing moves episodes at the Mirror Ball trophy final? Maybe he needs some time to come back on the pommel horse.

One fan bantered frankly on Reddit, saying, “Yep, he’s still on his dancing hiatus. Based on what I’ve seen on social media, having a great time.” Yeah! On the digital social landscape, Stephen seems not to have fully recovered from his dancing vibes. He updated his Instagram post last year. There, Stephen was solving a cube puzzle with a DWTS label. And having gym fun with his mates. Making sense? Let’s get some sense from another fan reaction.

One of his fans chimed in to explain Stephen Nedoroscik’s absence from the 2025 Winter Cup. The user wrote, “Makes sense with the DWTS tour and also him needing a break from competitions.” From this comment, it seems that fans are more keen to see Stephen Nedoroscik on the dancing floor rather than on the gymnastics mat (pun intended).

Adding to that emotion, another comment reads, “He looks like he’s having a fantastic time. 🤩 I’m so happy for him!” So, it’s not about how the pommel horse champ takes his year’s first competition; it’s about the love he already showered on everybody with his athleticism and dance. He won everyone’s hearts with versatile talents.

Meanwhile, Stephen Nedorscik is busy with his co-host role, as posted by DWTS’s official Instagram account. The account shared a short clip of Stephen and Ezra Sosa making funny moves. And guess what! Rylee was there. She is filming their unscripted yet humor-filled conversation. Let’s hope that Stephen Nedoroscik, with all his innocence, cuteness, and gymnastics traits, prevails on every stage, whether on a dance floor or a gymnastics mat. So, what do you think about Stephen’s return to the gymnasium floor? Let your thoughts know in the comment box.
