Has Jordan Chiles been able to make amends with her post-Paris Olympics fiasco? 150 days have already passed since she claimed the Olympic bronze medal in the floor exercise final. However, the stakeholders have yet to come to a point in deciding the ownership of the medal. First, Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu challenged the jury’s order to push her away from the leaderboard and give the title to Chiles. The legal battle reached the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Eventually, CAS ruled against Team USA’s claim and subsequently dropped Chiles from the third to the fifth position. Meanwhile, Ana Barbosu retained her place and earned the bronze medal. The ruling failed to satisfy Chiles and Team USA, who claimed to have the necessary proof to justify Chiles’s score in the event. Yet, their voices didn’t reach the right places at the right time. The result?

Jordan Chiles’s title of winning an individual Olympic medal is still in limbo. The legal battle is on the floor of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court now, deciding the rightful ownership of the medal. Chiles, on the other hand, is on her way to start her NCAA season. However, in the interim, she has revitalized the recollection of that floor exercise final at the Paris Olympics. How?

Jordan Chiles hits the bingo on the auspicious night

On December 14, UCLA Gymnastics hosted Meet The Bruins in its backyard, Pauley Pavilion. It was the first chance to see the entire 2025 gymnastics squad of the Bruins showing their skills on the mat. The show opened the option to watch Jordan Chiles performing for the first time after the floor exercise final of the Paris Olympics. Furthermore, on Saturday night, Chiles was listed for the floor exercise only. That hinted at watching something breathtaking in Pauley Pavilion. Meanwhile, Jordan presented the same performance that she did in that much-debated floor exercise final in Bercy Arena. That shook up everything, even the Big Ten gymnastics. Proof? The Instagram handle of B1G Gymnastics uploaded a snippet to tease the fanfare.

The shared snippet displayed the same tumblings with super finesse. Everything remained the same as it was four months ago in Paris. Also, the 23-year-old kept her mood as perfect as it could ever be. Altogether, the well-crafted moves and steps with Beyoncé’s voice as the background score sent shockwaves through Pauley Arena. In the snippet, Jordan’s teammates were seen overjoyed, jumping to the sidelines. The fans seated in the gallery failed to remain stuck in their seats. They also set the mood by clapping and moving their legs. Remember, performing in the same tone, Jordan Chiles earned a revised score of 13.733 on the floor exercise final four months ago. What could she have managed to get had she performed it in the NCAA gymnastics duel? Debates will be there. But the fans remained very interested in giving their idols her flowers.
