Baby Biles is known for being her aunt Simone Biles’ biggest fan. She dresses in her aunt’s leotards during the competitions to watch her perform and even started training gymnastics herself in the World Championship Centre in Texas run by Ronnie and Nellie Biles. Furthermore, Baby Biles also recently sported a dress in her preschool with the line, “And Still, I Rise,” written in it, which is also the same words that Simone has as her tattoo.
On November 27th, this bundle of joy celebrated her second birthday. On this occasion, her mother and Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi Biles, took to Instagram to pen an emotional note about her daughter, who was conceived through IVF. She had faced a lot of difficulties during her birth, which was highlighted in her note. While WCC coach Cecile Landi also wished Baby Biles in her Instagram story, the mother’s words were really touching to hear.
Sharing a glimpse of her little one, she gratefully wrote, “Happy 2nd birthday to our pride & joy 🥹 a huge miracle, gift, & love all wrapped into a tiny yet mighty body. You are my littlest best friend, & my love for you is infinite.” Simone Biles’ sister-in-law then went on to thank God for her birth, as she was a long-awaited answer to her prayers.

She also told her daughter to always remember that she was loved by her family members and God, who created her very intricately. Sammi also acknowledged that Baby Biles’ birth has helped heal a lot of her mentally. “It is truly a gift to be your mama with a really special bond we share. You’ve helped heal parts of me I didn’t even realize needed healing because you are truly such a light,” she said.
Afterward, she thanked her husband and ended the note saying, “Thank you, @rbiles2 for being the best daddy and husband; I couldn’t do this thing called life without you. love you always, mama.” Thus, it was a very emotional and heart-touching note dedicated to her daughter, who turned two. The family had faced a lot of problems, which were reflected in the note. But it’s nice seeing Simone Biles’ sister-in-law being so elated about her daughter’s second birthday.
Challenges faced by Simone Biles’ niece
Baby Biles has faced a few health concerns since her birth. The most prominent of this came in 2023 when Simone Biles was in Antwerp competing at the World Championships. Along with the fact that she was conceived after a lot of difficulties by her parents, the gymnast’s niece was also born prematurely. This brought its own set of complications. But the family has carried on in full strength despite some stutters in the road.

“Cold, flu, RSV season is for the birds,” wrote Sammi in one of her Instagram posts during one of the health episodes that sent Baby Biles to the emergency room. This also happened when her father and Simone Biles’ brother were undergoing hip surgery. “Pray that October is at the very least semi-kind to us because November is going to be hard,” said Sammi in another Instagram post last year.
The family of three has been through its fair share of problems for the last two years. But they have carried on with their lives and seemed to have done everything for the well-being of their daughter. At the end of the day, that’s all that matters.
