However, Biles is making the most of it by showing up to root for her husband on the ground like the doting wife she is!
No wonder she was recently spotted at the Bears’ home game against the Lions, where she sent him off to the field with their signature pre-game kiss. Also, while Biles was in the Windy City, she squeezed in an exclusive backseat interview in the same puffer jacket and bucket hat she rocked at the game. Only her revelations were fresh this time!

Speaking to Olympics Gymnastics while seated in the backseat of a car, Simone Biles weighed two forms of workouts. When asked to compare gymnastics conditioning to your pilates experience, Biles’ answer was obvious. She dislikes Pilates, and that feeling was out there, loud and clear as she said, “Oh, I’d rather do 10 presses every morning rather than go to a Pilates class.”
The GOAT herself couldn’t help but express amazement at those who manage to nail this type of workout—including, surprisingly, her husband! Thus, with a mix of awe and humor, she admitted, “That stuff, I don’t know how people do it. It’s not easy.” However, she’s firm in her mind that she wishes to steer clear of this clan. Thus, she issued a warning that goes, “Don’t sign me up.”
It’s funny how we’re about to enter 2025 and nothing has changed when it comes to Simone Biles and Pilates. She has been clear from the start that it isn’t her cup of tea. No wonder the gymnast gave her verdict in 2020, saying, “I will not be doing that again.” It had left her body as sore as ever!
Thus, even though her first workout after the 2024 Olympics run was Pilates (she perhaps wanted to give it a last shot), she drew a respectful boundary saying, “First time working out since the Olympics… This is what I wore to a Pilates class that I will never be attending again! Y’all stay strong out there, lmao. It’s too hard.”

Well, there must be a certain reason why the gymnast finds Pilates to be tougher than more complicated workouts like gymnastics conditioning. Is it probably because, unlike high-impact exercises, Pilates involves slow, controlled movements? Or because it targets the smaller and deeper muscles that are usually not activated in other workouts? We wouldn’t know the actual answer unless Simone Biles helps us with more confessions! Like she did about having cheated in a Pilates class once.
Biles’ Pilates experience was a near-disaster
If only Pilates were as easy as it sounds, Simone Biles could have easily mastered it! After all, what exercise can be too tall a challenge for America’s most decorated gymnast who has it all — flexibility, strength, and skill? But sadly, this isn’t the case. On the Kelly Clarkson show recently, Biles confessed that Pilates is something she cannot do to even save her life!

Moreover, while in the Pilates class, Simone Biles would even cheat when her teacher was not around or watching her. Because otherwise, she would be shaking with the pressure! However, all this has led her to realize that this type of workout isn’t meant for her.
So what does she do instead? Well, Simone Biles trains roughly for 6-7 hours a day, which mostly involves refining her intricate gymnastics skills and doing conditioning workouts. However, she also cross-trains frequently in a week, with exercises like swimming, biking, running, etc. Thus, she undoubtedly has that cream fitness level, yet she is choosy about her workout types!
