After Olivia “Livvy” Dunne made the six-hour journey alongside boyfriend and MLB debutante Paul Skenes so she could cheer for him from the stands, Dunne returned to her city. Deciding to watch the rest of MLB season matches from home, where she is reunited with the couple’s daughter; Roux. The white-as-snow labrador retriever is as elegant to look at as its name and has pretty much been a mainstay of Olivia Dunne and her extended family. There have been many instances where Livvy has sported her labrador retriever to all and sundry. From NYC adventures to family gatherings, adorable little Roux has seen it all.
Olivia Dunne also celebrated Christmas with her pet daughter. Completely donning the dog mom’s role in full earnest, X Mas was filled to the hilt with family and some pawsome fun as well. Pre-Christmas festivities hit differently in the Livvy household, as even Baby Roux was spotted in the family congregation. There was even a cutout that had the caption penned – “Our family tree. Merry Christmas”. Roux and her mom could be seen peeking their head out to soak in the convivial atmosphere.
She captioned the post –“Mother and daughter. The genetics are strong”, which might hint at the fact that they me cut from the same cloth. Such is their bond forged. Roux seemed to have placed her paw very gingerly, while her mom was beaming with joy. Cut to 2024, Roux is now a sliver of Paul Skenes’ life as well, post his MLB news.

In a recent snapchat post, Olivia Dunne posted a picture kissing her daughter and captioned it, “reunited with my queen”. From the looks of it, she was seen at Newark Liberty International Airport. Dunne has been away for a while as she cheered Paul Skenes’ debut as part of the Pittsburgh Pirates when he played his first match against the Chicago Cubs. His debut was impressive as he struck out seven batters over four innings and consistently managed to reach 100mph with his fastball. The match was also a rollercoaster of emotions as it was also halted in the middle when it began raining.
The crowd at PNC Park was buzzing with excitement at not only Skenes but also the presence of Olivia Dunne in the stands as she cheered her boyfriend wearing Pirate gear and a badge with his face on it. She even made a TikTok expressing her nervousness saying, “I can’t control — I don’t know how to throw a 100 mile [per hour] fastball, but it’s hard to have no control.” She also told Pirates’ Broadcast that, “I know he’s got this and I just have a lot of confidence in him.” Paul Skenes in the past has also spoken about how much it means to him for Olivia Dunne to watch his matches from atop the seams.
