Olivia Dunne is one of the most popular NCAA gymnasts right now. Despite being quite capable in her sport, most of the credit for this goes to her social media activity. Olivia has become a huge sensation on the internet, with more than 10 million followers on TikTok and 5 million on Instagram. She has achieved this through her unique gymnastics-driven content mixed with humor, which fans seem to adore.
Her increased presence on the internet has, in turn, also helped her grab a lot of sponsorships from numerous brands. This has helped her rise up the highest-paid NIL athlete’s chart, where she currently sits in the second position with a valuation of $4 million. It is a staggering amount of money to earn for a college athlete. However, this is not the most surprising statistic regarding the gymnast’s finances.
During an appearance at the Full Send Podcast, Olivia Dunne talked about how her humongous social media following enables brands to bank on her as it gives them the required social media interactions to further their sales. The hosts then further questioned her on the highest figure she has earned through one single post on Instagram.

While initially hesitant to answer, Livvy then stated that the figure was over half a million dollars. “Yeah, yeah, I’m very fortunate,” she said before adding, “It’s just crazy to me.” This figure is higher than the average money earned by Serena Williams and Simone Biles, as they earn 139k and 58k, respectively, according to BetSports.
However, Livvy’s $500k earning seems like a one-off, as her average earning through one post is said to be $31.9k-$43k. Nevertheless, this figure has led to the gymnast sitting on top of a very coveted list. The gymnast now earns the most money through Instagram posts among fellow college athletes. This is a monumental achievement, as she earned more than two Olympic gold medalists, Suni Lee and Jordan Chiles.
Suni earns $16k-$21k and is placed second on the list, while Jordan earns $4k-$5k, sitting seventh on the list. Basketball player Paige Bueckers earns $10k-$13k and is in the third spot. Thus, it means a great deal that Olivia not only got into this list but also topped it. Her sizeable portfolio of sponsorships really helped her achieve this feat.

Olivia Dunne’s popularity has led many brands to sponsor her. One of them is Nautica, a women’s sportswear brand. They started a partnership with the gymnast back in February and promoted their product by putting her image on Billboards in New York wearing the company’s clothes. Speaking about the company during a press release Livvy expressed how thrilled she was in collaborating with them. She said, “It’s a brand that perfectly aligns with my lifestyle because it values confidence, versatility, and style.”

Other than that, she has also racked up sponsorships with other popular brands like Vuori, Sports Illustrated, American Eagle, and Nautica. Recently, she also collaborated with YouTuber Jake Paul’s perfume brand W. During the promotion video of the product, she performed a crazy stunt where she threw the bottle in the air and then performed two backflip somersaults before catching the bottle again. This unique athletic flavor that Livvy brings to every product she endorses is the reason why brands are so keen to partner with her. Now that she is in the final season of her collegiate career, we might see even more similar stunts from her before she hangs up her LSU leotard.
