Her husband, Jonathan Owens, has also been busy with his NFL schedule.

This has limited their meetings to the minimum, as they could have probably met during Jonathan’s NFL game against the Minnesota Vikings. But these infrequent meetings between them could now delay a critical moment in their lives. Simone and Jonathan have been building a house for them to live together in since September 2023, worth $3 million. The place is located on a lakefront property in Texas. Simone Biles has shared updates on the construction of the place numerous times with the fans. But now, it seems the place is finally close to completion after more than one year since the start of its creation.

Despite the final touches of the house in place, the gymnast’s entry into her residence will have to wait for some time. This is once again caused by the couple’s hectic schedule. Lately, US Weekly questioned Simone’s upcoming housewarming plans. The gymnast replied, “At this point, we’ve waited so long for it to be built; we’ll just wait until after the [NFL] season to move in.”

The gymnast also shared what is left to be made in the house. She said, “Right now, they’re doing all of the backyard stuff. Jonathan wanted a half-basketball court, a barbeque pit, all of the good stuff. We did put an in-ground trampoline and a pool.”

Thus, while the place is almost ready to move into, the couple will have to wait a while to actually do so. However, looking at the updates shared with the fans about the place, it definitely is worth the wait.

After her return home from the Paris Olympics, Simone shared photos of the place with the fans. The gymnast showed her kitchen, which was almost finished and had sleek counters, stylish light fixtures, white cabinets, and numerous other features. After that, she shared pictures of the theater room, game room, bar, and balconies, which provided a beautiful view.

Simone Biles also showed fans pictures of her lavish bathroom, boasting a tub, black-and-white marble walls, brass fixtures, and much more. All these gave fans a general idea of what the house looked like, as they were awestruck by the place’s beauty. This is why many feel the residence is worth the wait.

Thus, fans will now have to wait for the end of the NFL season for a full-house tour of the place and to witness how beautiful it actually ends up being. But for now, the couple seems to be having fun with the new football season.
