And amid this deal, Olympic gold medalist Jade Carey subtly showed her support for this partnership. The athlete posted a story just hours after the huge deal.

Jade Carey shows support for US Gymnastics new partnership

On August 3,? gymnast Jade Carey posted an Instagram story showing off her Nike possession. The Olympic gold medalist, who seemed to be traveling, posted a story of Nike sneakers and Nike shoes while sitting on a plane. Carey was seen wearing $324 Gamma Force white/black sneakers and carrying a navy blue Nike Heritage school gym travel backpack.

The athlete?s post came only a few hours after the announcement of Nike’s deal with US Gymnastics. The billion-dollar company with a five-year contract will sponsor the US gymnastics in the 2024 Olympics in Paris and the 2028 Olympics held in Los Angeles. After the deal, Li Li Leung, the president of USA Gymnastics, told the media, “It is incredible that a corporate partner such as Nike has the trust and belief in us.”

The gymnasts will be seen wearing footwear and outfits specially customized by the billion-dollar brand for the two major events. And Despite the star athlete Simone Biles’s rocky relationship with Nike, next year, the legendary tick logo will be added for the first time to the official USA gymnastics leotard.
