On the other hand, NBA legend LeBron James is busy recruiting athletes after the United States’ disappointing finish at the World Cup. Roughly the same time that Biles made her return to the mats, the league’s all-time leading scorer also made his 21st NBA season announcement.
Interestingly, before the US gymnastics team headed to their international event, Simone Biles nominated NBA legend for a unique task that resonates with her beloved gymnastics arena.

LeBron James stands at 6′ 9″ next to the gymnastics queen’s 4′ 8″ stature who, unlike basketball, is keeping up the gymnastics format. Biles finished at the top in all-around last month seamlessly making way for her continental qualifiers. After earning a safe spot on Day 1 of World Selection Camp, the team is set to compete in the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
Interestingly, just a day before the commencement of the event in Antwerp, @laureussport took to their Instagram and shared a video of Simone Biles as she talks about various gymnastics apparatus. In the clip the 7X Olympic medalist names athletes who could pull off the gymnastics apparatus landings.
Speaking about Bars routine, she said “I really need to see LeBron James because our bars get to be really close.” She actioned his tall standing as she added “he can dunk and stuff”. “Let’s see if he can swing,” she giggled while saying.
