The chaos of the US Open Golf Championship has begun in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Wayne Gretzky’s daughter, Paulina Gretzky, has also graced the occasion to support her golfer husband, Dustin Johnson. The Gretzkys have been ardent fans of golf and are often spotted near the green in their leisure time. The pro golfer and Paulina share an “undeniable chemistry” which was made official with their engagement in 2013. A decade later, the married couple shares immense love and are parents to two beautiful kids.
Paulina has been a constant presence in her husband’s life, caddying him at many golf appearances. The pro golfer only stands second to Tiger Woods after completing all four major golf championships.

Johnson currently holds the sixth position in the US Open Golf Championship after receiving a score of -6. The PGA champion’s scores have been all over the place over the last two days. In his post-game statement, he explained his worst quad, stating, “It hit a little on the top so it didn’t quite cut enough caught the corner of the bunker, and then you know chunk my bunker shot then chunk the next one scold the next one just everything you could do wrong I did wrong.” Standing strong with Johnson, however, Paulina made sure that the pro-golfer felt her support.
Before making her way to the course at the US Open, Paulina, who is known to woo audiences with her outfit choices, dropped another picture, giving a shoutout to her husband before she marked her attendance at the country club. Gretzky shared a story on Instagram on June 16, 2023, just before she left for the US Open at the Los Angeles Country Club. She was wearing a black miniskirt and a maroon-red hoodie with the words “U.S. OPEN” printed on it, paired with white trainers. She smiled excitedly for the camera and captioned the story “Friday Fit” with a red heart emoji.
After making his mark on the sport, Johnson fell into the “bad boy” stereotype and was suspended from the PGA for six months for cocaine use in 2014. The White Tornado was his biggest ally throughout his difficult times. Johnson often gave Gretzky credit for being his mentor during his prime and helping him get back on his feet. Wayne Gretzky’s daughter has also well-balanced her career staying beside her husband during his big title misses in the past.
Johnson’s professional career has gone through several phases while he swung his golf ball over all the setbacks. The period from 2010 to 2016 put the golfer’s skill to the test. Despite being the best in the chart, he would often lose when it mattered.
