The wait is over. The final College Football Playoff National Championship game will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston on January 8th. And Dave Portnoy, president of Barstool Sports, is excited. He recently celebrated a million-dollar win on a bet for his Alma Mater, the Michigan Wolverines. After the Wolverines won the Rose Bowl against the Alabama Crimson Tide, the team advanced into the College Football Playoff national title.

The American took to his official Twitter account to announce an offer, and it seemed like he was in the mood to spend his million dollars for the team that made it possible!
He released a short clip with the caption that read, “For Michigan Fans Only – Chance of a lifetime. I’m taking 4 people to the Natty with me thanks to my friends @Gametime Airfare, tix, hotels. Tell me why you deserve to go. The winner picked tomorrow. #gametime”
Dave Portnoy and his friends at Game Time will sponsor the expensive tickets and handle all other costs. “It’s an expensive ticket, it’s an expensive trip. Here’s what I’m doing, my friends at game time, we’re going to send four people, maybe a family of four, two and two, and you’re going to sit with me and we’re going to watch History Monday night.”

The president of Barstool Sports is hyped and so are Wolverines’ fans. He concluded by saying, “Let’s go blue, four people, see you in Houston.’’ The College Football Playoff National Championship game between No. 1 Michigan and No. 2 Washington is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on January 8.

Team Michigan successfully entered the National Championship game with a 27-20 score in the Rose Bowl. On the other hand, Washington achieved success in the Sugar Bowl by defeating Texas with a final score of 37-30.
Both teams, Michigan and Washington, have secured flawless 14-0 records in the regular season. And the winner of this Championship will be the 10th national champion crowned in the College Football Playoff era that began in 2015. Interestingly, that year’s game was also a Big Ten/Pac-12 matchup, where Ohio State defeated Oregon, 42-20.
