The American figure skater Nathan Chen is the most talked-about celebrity right now in the country. Everywhere he goes, he is widely followed, and is still quite occupied with the interviews and press interactions.

The 22-year-old skater has brought home Olympic gold in the men’s figure skating short program after almost a decade. What is Nathan Chen’s plan for the next Olympics?
In a recent interview with CBS, the Olympic champion was posed with a question about his plans for the next Winter Olympics. However, like most other athletes, Nathan Chen also doesn’t want to give any solid comment on that as of now. He said, “I definitely need to think about it a little more, 2026 is of course really exciting, Olympics in Milan I think it’ll be a really cool experience to have, However, I just got off 2022 and still have four years to go.”
Nathan further added, “I mean it would be really exciting, but right now I am embracing this moment, and tryna live in the present and figure out what comes in the next couple of years.”
“I go back to school in August… I am really invested in school. So it really depends …on the day-to-day process and I don’t want to put any concrete answer on it for myself.” he added.

Post-Olympics Nathan is mostly seen giving interviews and answering questions from the press. However, the champion also took some time off to meet friends and family after his emphatic win. Recently, he has talked about his Olympics journey in some of America’s top prime time talk shows and shared his experience on what it feels like to be an Olympic gold medalist.
Nathan was the top favorite going into the Olympics, but the competition was not easy for him. His arch-rival, Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan, was also amongst the top favorites in the Olympics; but undoubtedly, Nathan was better than the rest of the skaters. Hence, he brought home the most prestigious Olympic gold.
